|  | Jerome is an old mining town (copper), about 75 miles drive from Flagstaff, or 23 miles Southwest of Sedona. The miners have long gone, now the town is populated by artists, bikers, and tourists. The old high school has been converted to an artist colony, very neat.
If you own a motorcycle, the road (89) from Jerome to Prescott has to be the best road to go, twisting and turning, it makes an interesting ride, heck, even in cars is exhilarating! Make sure you have good brakes!
