The big part of older film cameras I collect is to obtain the M42 threadmount lens.
The Ricoh Singlex TLS and the Pentax Spotmatic are 2 such cameras, which came with the 55mm f1.4 (Ricoh) and the 50mm f1.4 (Pentax).
By far, my favorite lens is the Ricoh 55mm f1.4; heavy, easy to focus, great for portraits. The next lens is actually a 135mm f3.5. A little on the long side, but also produces some very sharp pictures.
My latest find is from Goodwill, a $15 Kodak Retina with a brown leather case. Does it work? Who knows, it looks nice on display. :)
